Joseph Bagnall

Joseph Bagnall was born about 1796 at Fall Ing, Sandal Magna, a son of George Bagnall (Senior) and his first wife Mary. Like his father and brothers, he was an Iron Moulder. He married Elizabeth, and moved away from the Wakefield area to York, where he died 28 July 1859.

In the 1841 census he is recorded aged 45, an Iron Moulder, with wife Elizabeth and 7 children at Walmgate, York. In the 1851 census he is aged 55, still an Iron Moulder, with Elizabeth and 4 children, still at Walmgate, York.
